This much awaited event is nearly here; with the Long Island Restaurant Week far behind us, we can look forward to winter dining in our favorite city! This year, in honor of the 20th anniversary, NYC Restaurant Week is, for the first time ever, a 20 day event. The promotion will run from January 16th to February 10th, where diners will be able to score three-course lunches and dinners for a fraction of the usual price. Reservations are going like hot cakes, so try to make them as soon as possible; not all restaurants offer the special menus for both lunch and dinner-click here for the event’s official site and to see a list of participating restaurants.
What began originally in 1992 as a one-time culinary event to welcome the Democratic National Convention to the city has turned into one of the most anticipated and exciting events, drawing in diners from all over. Over the past 20 years, NYC Restaurant Week has grown remarkably and has remained dedicated to giving visitors and residents the opportunity to experience the diversity, quality and hospitality that New York City truly encompasses.
